When grown in deep shade, the gold color is fleeting, but in lightly filtered shade or a couple of hours of sun, the color holds for us all summer. Interplanted among purple or blue groundcovers, the foliage contrast of Amorphophallus 'Gordon's Gold' is stunning! Please remember that Amorphophallus konjac does not emerge before mid-June and plants shipped after early September will probably be dormant or going dormant. What happens in Bangkok stays in Bangkok. The 20\" tall, black speckled stalks are topped with wide green leaves, adorned with the largest and most abundant yellow spots we've seen on any amorphophallus. It only took us sixteen years to propagate enough to share, so if you'd like a really cool houseplant, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. When it starts to wilt in late fall, dry it off for the winter months, and start watering again when growth restarts in late spring. The small white cup-like inflorescence emerges alongside the foliage.\u003c\/p\u003e ","brand":"Plant Delights Nursery","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":32454620250199,"sku":"1533","price":28.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1527\/8799\/files\/Amorphophallus-lacourii-Hot-Night-Spot.i-1533.s-66278.r-1.jpg?v=1792179280"}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1527\/8799\/collections\/colocasia-waikiki-1900x350_95f6c152-c9b1-4d60-bcac-8969b8069eac.jpg?v=1708017161","url":"https:\/\/www.plantdelights.sbs\/collections\/aroids.oembed","provider":"Plant Delights Nursery","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
