Ligularia flowers in the fall, producing clusters of butterfly-attracting, yellow composite blooms. There is some confusion about Ligularia and \u003ca title=\"Farfugium\" href=\"https:\/\/www.plantdelights.sbs\/collections\/farfugium\"\u003eFarfugium\u003c\/a\u003e. The cold-resistant foliage emerges for us in mid-February, during hellebore season, oblivious to two more months of cold temperatures.
