Amorphophallus myosuroides was discovered growing on vertical, shaded rock ledges in the Khammouane Province of Laos. The tiny but rapidly offsetting tuber produces a solitary, light green, radial leaf atop each 8\" tall stalk. Within a few weeks of the leaf appearing, an 8\" tall white mousetail-like (the genus Myosurus means \"mousetail\") inflorescence appears on a separate 8\" tall stalk.
