This amazing evergreen species produces huge 7" long, super-shiny green foliage, and this clone has a lovely muted silver pattern in the middle of each leaf. This was propagated from an original 2008 division from a clump growing near an amusement park in Chiayi County, Taiwan at 5,800' elevation. It's performed beautifully for us since that time, forming a very slowly expanding 18" wide patch. The clusters of amazing flowers, purple with a wrinkled lighter eye, are produced below the foliage, starting for us in December.

Watch our Plant Spotlight video for more information.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1527/8799/files/Asarum-hypogynum-Spit-Shine.i-13589.s-68153.r-1_3e7028d2-f5fb-44d0-98d8-50b4f18f8c17.jpg?v=1770930927
