This Chinese discovery is so new, that it has yet to be named as a new species, which will eventually happen. This easy-to-grow, woodland specimen, forms a 4' wide patch in 10 years. When grown in optimum conditions like rich, evenly moist woodland soil, each stalk can reach 22\" tall with leaves that are 7\" long x 4.5\" wide. In April, the stalks are topped with small, axillary, yellow flowers, each overlaid with a heavy brown speckling. This amazing introduction came via our friend, plantsman Hayes Jackson, in 2001 from China's Wuhan Botanical Garden.\u003c\/p\u003e ","brand":"Plant Delights Nursery","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":21025367109,"sku":"3381","price":17.6,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1527\/8799\/files\/Disporopsis-sp-nov-Lily-Pads.i-3381.s-63635.r-1_a7ae515e-3b81-46f4-998f-9a6bc4ca0734.jpg?v=1791398520","url":"https:\/\/www.plantdelights.sbs\/products\/disporopsis-sp-nov-lily-pads","provider":"Plant Delights Nursery","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
