We were given this as a clone of the Chinese Lychnis coronata, but when we keyed it out, it turned out to be a virtually sterile hybrid. Regardless, Lychnis 'Orange Sherbet' makes a tidy 2' tall x 3' wide mound of light green foliage which is topped, starting in late May (NC), with 1", or wider, light orange flowers that continue through most of the summer. This is a truly superb deer-resistant specimen for a part sun spot in the garden...very tolerant of a variety of soil types, but propagation will drive you nearly insane...we're proof!

Watch our Plant Spotlight video for more information.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1527/8799/files/Lychnis-Orange-Sherbet.i-7907.s-67756.r-1_85d52767-581d-4c95-994e-68d8e29c87fa.jpg?v=1791565968
