Although Sabatia foliosa naturally resides primarily in coastal savannas from South Carolina west to Texas, it has made itself quite at home in our garden. The small basal rosette of light green leaves grows insignificantly to 2" tall x 6" wide. Starting in mid-June (NC), the clumps are topped with awesome 2" pink daisies atop 8" tall, upright, branched, flowering stalks. Sabatia foliosa grows best in a seasonally moist bog or a rather damp spot in the garden...you'll fall in love all over again! This collection is nursery seed grown from plants originating in Santa Rosa County, Florida, shared by plantsman John Hummer.

Watch our Plant Spotlight video for more information.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1527/8799/files/Sabatia-foliosa-Santa-Rosa.i-17040.s-67008.r-1_ade76993-e75a-4954-b38d-681b66d9226a.jpg?v=1783455712
