Although typically used in hanging baskets and summer containers, an in-ground planting of Tradescantia 'Gold Stripes' makes a superb groundcover, forming a 15\" tall x 3' wide, dense patch of silvery-haired foliage, layered with irregular creamy stripes. The patches are further adorned with small lavender flowers in August and September. We find it amazingly useful as a full sun groundcover, albeit deciduous below 20 degrees F.\u003c\/p\u003e ","brand":"Plant Delights Nursery","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":40069903810647,"sku":"17231","price":22.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1527\/8799\/files\/Tradescantia-sillamontana-Gold-Stripes.i-17231.s-68140.r-1_7cc35b19-ffce-4f1d-8482-93c41f7b4ca8.jpg?v=1792149883","url":"https:\/\/www.plantdelights.sbs\/products\/tradescantia-sillamontana-gold-stripes","provider":"Plant Delights Nursery","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
